This fish-eating mammal is Otter. Beavers are carnivorous mammals in the subfamily Lutrinae. The 13 extant beaver species are all semi-aquatic, aquatic or marine, with a diet based on fish and invertebrates. Lutrinae are a branch of the Mustelidae family, which includes, among other animals, weasels, badgers, minks, and wolverines.
River otters eat a variety of aquatic wildlife, such as fish, crayfish, crabs, frogs, bird eggs, birds, and reptiles such as turtles. They are also known to eat aquatic plants and hunt other small mammals, such as muskrats or rabbits. Their metabolism is very high, so they need to eat frequently.
